Previously I worked for the digital department of DS.Emotion (now Ralph) where I was senior interactive/web designer. I'm pretty handy with all the usual applications (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver etc etc), and from time to time I've been know to illustrate and design for print.
I've been working as a freelance web designer since 2005 and am now a regular at many design agencies across Leeds. In addition to this, I work remotely with various design and pr agencies in London.
I have to admit I was really pleased when asked to take part in the Netmag build off feature, it’s always been one of my favourite sections of the magazine. The brief was to mock up the homepage of a fundraising site that should make people want to donate money in a subtle but convincing manner. I had a lot of fun creating this and was really pleased to see it appear in issue 199.

When freelance cameraman Dan Roberts approached me to do his site I was pretty excited by the possibilities. After exploring a few options I decided to create a high impact flash site that would sell his abilities from the moment a user lands and build upon that experience as they continue through the site.
Produced for DS.Emotion this slick flash site features some constant fluid motion video which creates a lot of impact and works as a really subtle background to the rest of the site.

I was pretty excited when Sheffield based games developer Tuna Technologies approached me to redesign their online games portal Tunasnax. The result was a fairly intricate piece of design work.
