I designed Mac3DSoftware.com back in 2007 and it has been included in The Web Designer’s Idea Book which is due to hit the shelves in October 2008. The Web Designer’s Idea Book has been put together by Patrick McNeal, the man behind the very popular web showcase Design Meltdown.
After much talk and not a lot of action I’ve finally redesigned my site. The old site was seriously out of date and while it was still getting me some nice comments, it wasn’t really working hard enough for me and it was a real pain in the ass to update.
When it comes to portfolio sites, I’m a big advocate of letting the work do the talking (or not as the case may be!), hence the large screenshots and simplistic layout. I’m not sure how the new look will go down with my fans (if only!) but I’m pretty happy and I’m looking forward to keeping it updated.
